Soft Limits Issue
« on: June 03, 2020, 05:19:45 PM »
Hi

I have a Workbee style machine and a paid version of Mach3, running on Windows 10.

All appears to be working fine.  The only issue I'm having is the "soft limits" for the X and Y axis, Z works fine and looks like other setup's I have seen.

The configuration in photo #3 that I can get to work is very different to the many videos etc I have seen on the subject.

1. Machine

2. Soft limits activated as soon as X or Y axis moved from home after moving into the negative direction. Z works fine.  Table display is way off.

3.Soft limits work (X,Y & Z), but setup is different to everything else I have seen online. Table display looks fine.

Can someone please shed some light on the issue, or post their config screens for a similar Workbee I can take a look at.

Thanks!

Softlimits work off the machine coordinates so if your machine is at home in picture one then switch to machine coords and move to the opposite limits and that will be your min values minus xyz, home should be your max values.

Thank you Graham, now the penny has dropped!

Looks like my photo #3 config is correct or on the right track.
