What is Enable AntiClunk Mode
« on: March 14, 2020, 03:48:00 PM »
I just upgraded my SmoothStepper to version 253 (from 202).  I noticed a check box called "enable AntiClunk Mode for Servo Motors" in the motors tab of the SmoothSteppers menus.  What does this function do?  I've had a few occurrences where my motors have come to a screeching halt with a "clunk" and the machine had to be reset.   This seems to only happen when I am jogging with the shuttle.  So I am currently not using the shuttle and it has not happened again.  If I check this box is it possible I can reinstall my shuttle?
Thanks
Karl
