Touch probe to center Spindle
« on: July 11, 2020, 05:13:28 AM »
Hi Guys

A lot of what I do on my 3 axis Mill is modifying existing parts
These parts have a round hole in them that I use as my X0 Y0 reference point
And My code is written from that point

At the moment I use a Axial Dial gauge to find my circle center
I do have the Idea of using a touch Probe

Process being
set probe manually Z,X&Y in hole by eye
The run a function to Move Spindle to find hole center automatically then set X0 Y0 in Mach3

My Question is.... Is this a G Code Program ?
