Z-probing. Retract wrong distance?
« on: June 29, 2019, 05:52:48 AM »
Hi
I have my machine setup and working almost perfect with Mach4 and pokey57cnc. But I have an issue.
When using Mach4 for autozeroing my z, it zero as I want to. I use a 3mm block for the probing. I have stated in the value of the 3 mm int the probing software. It’s retracting the distance I want
But trying to use the machine after probing, the bit is not moving down to the surface!
I cannot figure out what’s wrong. It’s like it’s not calculating the 3 mm of my probing-plate
Best regards
Kent

If you are using mm for the parameters, make sure you are in mm mode (G21).
;D If you could see the things I have in my head, you would be laughing too. ;D
