I retrofitted a KOIKE Aronson table and am using Mach4 w/ SheetCam. Controller is an ESS SmoothStepper with TMC3-in-1. I can't get the THC to work. My Z axis is a stepper. I'm cutting designs and everything else works except the THC. TMC Screenset is reading voltage from my Hypertherm but the torch does not adjust during the cut. THC turned on, ESS Plugin set to TMC3-in-1. When I run the Z simulator, it does not go up and down 30 times, it might go up once and then make a grind noise. I'm sure it's probably something simple but I can't figure it out. HELP!!!

That sounds like the stepper is unable to keep up with the up/down step signals produced by the ESS.
If the machine can't follow the simulator it will not be able to follow the TMC3 either.
Is there a max velocity and/or a max acceleration setting within the THC plugin?
