MACH 3
« on: February 16, 2019, 10:01:02 PM »
Gday,
I have a problem in Mach3 where the machine does not cut out in the orientation as per the display.
Please find attached a diagram showing what is displayed and what is actually cut.
The circle and triangle are cut in the opposite corners not as shown in the display.

Any help would be appreciated.

Either your X or Y axis (maybe both) are set up backwards.

Gday,
Thanks Gerry.
I have tried reversing each axis but that does not fix it , infact it then would not line up with the limit switches.
The axis work correctly I think ie when I operate the X axis the X axis operates and the same with the Y axis.
They home correctly its just the cutout is wrong .

according to your Diagramm X and Y are swapped.

     Y+
X- -|- X+
     Y-

thats how your tool should move on the surface.
anything is possible, just try to do it.
if you find some mistakes, in my bad bavarian english, they are yours.
