Setting the Working Table

(1/1)

Nathan22:
Hi everyone happy new year to all, im a beginner with mach 3 and probably on a a router machine 3 axis, i wanted to let the machine know the actual workable table size and where should the machine start to do its job, coz everytime i load a gcode (i make it from the aspire) when i transfer it to mach3 the drawing is too far from the spindle, when i try manually check if i will not exceed the table by jogging it, the axis reach the end of the machine still not reaching the drawing or sometimes obly the half of the drawing...

ps sorry if my terminology might be different coz im noob...

Thank you and hope you guys can help me solve this problem...

God bless.

Hi,
when you draw your part in Aspire there should be a start point (0,0,0) somewhere on the part, maybe one corner say. Sometimes the start
point will be the  corner of the piece of material.

Clamp the material in the machine and jog to the corner or other feature that you determined was your start point. The zero your machine using the
buttons alongside the DROs per the attached pic. Now the machine should be zeroed and the tool on the Gode start point 0,0,0.

Execute the code....with or without prayers!!!
