My G8689 is CNC'd. X and Z Axis move predicative and correctly but when I use G54 to set X0, Y0 and Z0, Y moves in wrong direction. My Edge detector is 0.2" diameter and is electronic. When I use G54 to set X0 it works great but when I set Y0, the offset DRO changes to 0 but the table moves wrong. Y0 is at offset 0.2 (0.1 X 2) but the DRO thinks it is 0. The motor direction is correct, I think. All the G code moves in the correct direction just Y0 is off by twice the diameter of the edge detector. ???

Any help would be appreciated.

I found what I was doing wrong with Mach3. When I selected the left most button on the Offset page for Y Edge, it thought I was selecting the Right edge so the offset was in the incorrect direction. If I am right, this is a complete fubar on Mach3. If I am wrong, then my copy of Mach3 is AFU.
