LCam & revolving line
« on: July 31, 2007, 12:35:31 PM »
Hi to all,

I want to use my mill and rotary axis in a lathe mode. So far I assigned rotary axis as a spindle and put it on vertical position. I don't know how to generate that revolving line to obtain a round piece. It is possible to do that in LCam? If so how can I do that? I try to import a line (generated in Rhino)in LCam but I failed. Any advice will be very appreciated.

Thank you
Balsanu Gabi

Hi, Balsanu Gabi

Ii loaded your file its a 3D file, Make a simple 2D drawing and use LCam to set depth of cut and offset / pocket features.

It loads as is, Just takes a while and not usable, Its still crunching even though it says Not Responding, Most of the Time.

Thanks, Chip
