Inches vs. MM
« on: July 19, 2018, 09:03:57 PM »
My XP died and I loaded Mach3 onto Windows 7 (32 Bit) with a UC100 motion controller.  Three problems:  1) When I reboot the native units change from inches to MM.  2) Press soft limit button and get "Machine out of Limits for Softlimit activation"  3)  Display Mode doesn't show Table Display.  I think all three problems may be related.   Can you help me?

Hi,
you've posted in the Mach4 section of the forum, you'll get better results in the Mach3 section.

Have a look at Config/Native units. What are they?

Have you referenced (homed) your machine PRIOR to engaging soft limits?
Do you have home switches that even allow you to reference (home)?

Display table mode only works when soft limits also works, ie the machine is referenced.

These last two issues are related.

Do you have a valid license in your name? If so, I'd reinstall Mach3.

What are your softlimit settings, and what is the current position in machine coordinates?
