Lazy cam Pro
« on: July 18, 2007, 12:54:29 PM »
I recently got my lathe converted and am trying to use Lazy Cam to create a simple profile for a clock pillar . I have drawn it in Autocad 7 and saved as each of the Acad dxf choices but am unable to get LC to recognize the file. It says "file loaded no entities". I exported the same file as a wmf which worked .The part shape was there and the code produced by LC , when loaded to Mach3 Turns, provided the right shape but the dimensions were off the scale.
I've probably done some thing stupid but wish to move on as I've devoted a day to my present circle.
Regards
Tim

not sure , but when lazycam gives me that saying i have to take the dxf back to the cad and explode the drawing, then save and take to lazycam
