Drive shaft coupling
« on: February 18, 2018, 04:20:35 PM »
After more than a year of trying to learn Fusion 360, I finally got serious and decided now or never.  Someone in our bee club lost a part for one of our honey extractors.  Without the part I had to figure out it's dimensions from the coupling.  Drawing the part was easy, it's figuring out how to do the cam part that was hard.  Anyway, I was successful as you can see in this video.

Good job Vince; nice having a CNC mill around to solve life's challenges, eh?  At least it wasn't yet another post on the web showing yet another 3D printer! ::)

The design time would be the same, but I don't think a 3D printer could make that part in 60 seconds :-)
