XHC WHB04B-6 wireless MPG

I am setting up my new WHB04B-6 and am trying to use Macro keys set for "Rapid Axis ++" and "Rapid Axis --" . The base feed rate seams to be very high. It only works on my machine when the select knob is set on "2%". All other positions cause very high step rates sent to the motor drivers. This causes the motors to stall with very little or no movement. I don't think it should send out step pulses that are above the motor settings set in mach3.

My goal is to have + & - jog buttons for the axis selected on the knob. this does what I need with the exception of the exes feed it pulses out.

I looked extensively for a setting in Mach3 and found nothing that affects the base federate used by "Rapid Axis ++" and "Rapid Axis --" .

My machine is set up for 8.0 inches per minute maximum. All program and jog federates work normal.
The displayed federate when override knob is set for 100%, and Rapid Axis ++ is pushed, is 378 inches a minute.

Am I doing something wrong or can someone suggest anything.
