« on: September 09, 2017, 10:33:31 PM »
Already learnt a Ton of information here. Its a credit to a lot of people here thats for sure.

I've just started to setup a 6040Z and the disk is missing the USB Card Driver and motion driver files.
Could someone please point me in the right direction.
Where can i download these files?.  TIA

Hi,
not really sure about this but I think this is what you're looking for:
http://www.cdxhctech.com/html/edownloads/220.html

Good luck, I've heard a lot of people have struggled to get these things to work. If you get really sick of trying then investigate
PMDX, Warp9 and CNCdrive products, they work as they are supposed to and if you get stuck they will help you whereas China
might as well be another planet as far as getting help.

Thanks for that Craig.
That link is for the driver for the pendant. I have loaded that and I have that communicating OK. I was able to copy that file into the mach 3 plugins and the pendent was up and running.
The problem i have is with the USB CNC Motion driver. I load the files but cannot find the one file i need to copy to the mach 3 Plugin folder so that i can link it all together.
I've got onto the Company i brought it from and will see if they can shine any light on this. Possibly been sent the wrong disk.

I've heard a few back stories about these also but im determinant to get the thing up and running. I cant believe there
are so many videos on these and how to set them up and the difference in the way people have gone about it is amazing.
I will make up something when im all done so its here forr all to use ....Hopefully

Cheers   Daz

Good Morning Guy and Girls.

Well im back where i started from. After replacing 2 coolant pumps, 5 limit switches and having the USB card drop out at least 3 times ive just about had enough of this.
Ive been onto the supplier 3 times so far and have had bugger all help from them. So i are at the stage where im looking for a replacement for their usb card.

The machine is a 6040z China cnc router. Has anyone had to replace this Usb board with a better one and if so would you be able to steer me towards a good replacement.

Go ethernet instead of USB, as it's potentially a more reliable connection.

At the moment i dont have much choice Craig. But i do understand what you are saying and agree.

They have sent a new one out to get me going again but i will be replacing it asap along with a few other things.
Im done dealing with these twits. The Ethernet port is burnt and they tried putting that back on me.
Improper use is the term they used. How the hell can you improperly use a enternet port?.
