Is there "Driver Test" in Trial Mach3
« on: March 02, 2018, 12:27:44 PM »
hello, I have spent at least 3 hours looking and cant find the " Driver Test program". Is it in the trial version of Mach3? What I have is a Gecko G540, UC100 controller, windows 10 64 bit laptop.

thanks in advance for the help.

Hi,
DriverTest.exe is a means of testing a parallel port. You don't (can't) have a parallel port ergo DriverTest.exe won't work. It should still be in the main
Mach3 folder.

Hi Bigforkg,

When you installed Mach3 for use with UC100 you would not have installed the Parallel Port drivers so DriverTest.exe would not have been copied into your Mach3 folder.

Thank you Crig and Tweakie

What about the " blue screen of death" in the mach3 manual? Is that not a factor because of the UC100?

No. Or yes?

You don't have to worry about the Drivertest with the UC100.
