Thanks for sharing.
I will be getting my lathe going shortly and I am sure that this will come in handy.

We never have the time or money to do it right the first time, but we somehow manage to do it twice and then spend the money to get it right.

In Mach 4 Lathe Tool Table are the numbers referring to the tool offsets? I've always wondered about that. I need to know because sometimes I put different tools in the 8th position of my tool changer.

So when running a program would T0808 refer to tool 8 (position in the tool changer) with a tool I call 8? Then T0809 would be a tool in position 8 in my tool changer but reads the offsets I set in the tool table under #9, and so on?

As a Quick test issue a t0202 then a t0203 and watch the dros change to the new offsets and the current offset change to 3 and the current tool stay at 2.

LOl I was just doing that.

So for others information, yes the tool table is the tool offsets. T01 is just for the tool position, the second 2 numbers are for the tool offsets and refer to the tool table.
