Hi all. First time poster and new to CNC. I have been looking for a 3d rope file. Found and downloaded rope border rectangle.dxf . I cant open it in inkscape. How do i use the file and eventually get it to gcode? thanks

forgot to give my specs. xcarve using easle. I can use inkscape to convert dxf to svg and upload svg to easle for gcode conversion and sending to cnc. xcarve is arduino based so no mach3.

For those who have yet to purchase the Mach3 license and are running in Demo Mode I have re-worked the Chucks Deer Gcode file to get it down to just below the 500 line limit. To avoid duplication the Gcode file is included in the .zip folder here;

Ran across this by accident and tried it out. Going to use it on my grandson's gun cabinet that he is building.
