1024 + DarkSreen Lathe Mod
« on: December 21, 2023, 08:41:35 PM »
Hi I am not a programmer, I have a Taig lathe and a  Seig X2 Mill I started to CNC 13 years ago.
I moved twice and just retired so got them out of rusty storage and working with a cheap USB card.
I looked up Mach3 and my license was still good, nice.
I did die design for 35 years but never did CNC programming I used the wizards included.
When I opened Mach3Turn I couldn’t believe the screen was still the same as 13 years ago, very usable I guess but a bit a bit outdated.
I used the 1024 stock screen and resized it to 1920 and then used the DarkScreen v1.0.3 Designed by graphicer82 as a template and rebuilt some of those screens in the resized 1024 screen.
I only use a small amount of the buttons on these pages as I only having the Taig with manual spindle control so I can’t test all.

I reworked the Turning Wizard to sort of match the dark lathe and dark mill screens I’m using.
I did not scale it and have only used it at 1920 x1080.
I did all 16 pages. I realigned and resized pretty well everything.
It was quite a bit of work as the screens where not consistent, DRO’s not the same sizes and alignments were off.
I had a lot of fun learning and using the screen editors.
Thanks again to graphicer82, Dotyman for the Dark Screen set.
Thanks to the Mach3 people for the program, screen editors and wizards
