I am running or at least trying to run a Chinese 3020T CNC it is the one with the black controller it has a parallel port and a USB and from what I was led to do was get this UC100 and install on the controller and a USB to the computer. The Chinese told me that with their software I only needed to use the USB.
On the pin subject I can use your pin out as typed I do not need to know what the port is doing?

Hi,
you need a software plugin for the UC100, go to the CNCdrive website and download it. Get the manual
while your there, you'll need it!

It entirely probable that the machines control box is wired in a manner that means you are going to have
to conform to their configuration.

Get the plugin and manual for the UC100 first, then read the bloody thing!

Jim, just a thought, have you configured the hotkeys in mach3 under config? If the cursor (arrow ) keys haven't been set they won't work. I have the 3040T parallel only, once setup it works great.
