Hello everyone,
I am in the process of building my own cnc router, and
I have recently bought 3, 1-axis simplestep drivers from aliencnc, is there anyone who has used these driver boards with mach 2 / 3 ? .  Ok I will hold my hands up, I can learn to use mach 2 /3. It’s the wires, and connections, and sorting out which pins to use, I don’t want to melt the little buggers before ive started, can you get a config file for them?

Many thanks,

Drut

You should really use the instructions from the stepper drivers and put them on any of the outputs from the parallel port.  Then you just need to tell Mach3 which pins represent what signals to the stepper drivers.
