can any one tel me how to get old mxl files into a new comuter for mack 3 (the old hard drive stoped working }

Assuming you can still read data from your old HD copy your <profile> .xml from your old Mach3 folder (or xmlbackups folder) and paste it into your new Mach3 folder also copy and paste your license file, macros folder and any special screen sets you have been using.

If you cannot read data from your old HD then there are many HD recovery software programs available - some work better than others.

i was lucky i had a cloned hard drive and xml files on usb drive thanks i will try it tomorow

This is perhaps a lesson to us all - a backup copy of our Mach3 folder may, one day, save us hours of work.
