If the storm destroyed your inputs then I suggest you start replacing parts one at a time until the problem is fixed. Start with the BoB if that doesn't do it  then replace the LPT parallel port of the PC.

I appreciate your reply but it is plainly stated in my description that I have a new bob a new db 25 cable a new computer tower. Its more than something that simple. I don't KNOW the storm did it I just know when I rebuilt my machine I have no inputs. Yes i have 5 volts yes it changes when I hit a switch. I have been THROUGH it. Tried everything. Manual set up auto set up. I am at a loss i have 2 sets of pc's 2 bob's and 2 db25 cables and not ONE INPUT SWITCH

My apologies for misunderstanding.

Can you attach your .xml file, I will check your settings and see if there is anything obvious.

Your .xml file contains all your Mach3 settings and it is located in your Mach3 folder. It is called <your profile>.xml (typically Mach3Mill.xml). Make a copy of this file, rename the copy to tat2.xml and attach it to your reply using the Additional Options tab.

You will find more information regarding .xml files in the Mach3 manual

I think i may have found the problem unintentionally. Apparently db25 cables are not all made the same. SMDH
