How to set a mechanical gap in Mach3
« on: December 05, 2016, 03:41:37 AM »
Hi guys, I am new here.
Have set up Mach3 for first time everything kind off OK. Now I have a gap or loose space on the axis like on the thread so the axis should always go a few steps when changing direction to skip this gap.
Do you know how to set up this in Mach3? Havent find this on net.
Or is there another way to achieve this?

Thank you a lot

Ideally you should fix this issue mechanically (anti-backlash nut, etc.) but check out Backlash Compensation in the Mach3 manual http://www.machsupport.com/help-learning/product-manuals/
