UC100 w/C11GS Breakout Board
« on: October 25, 2016, 03:33:21 PM »
I am relatively new to CNC but unfortunately have learned a lot due to the great $$ savings in purchasing a Chinese machine, I have changed the controller to a UC1oo, and a C11gs breakout board, have installed an external power supply delivering 5V to the breaker board, I have motion on the Mach # screen but motors are not moving. I have 5 volt at the output where my drives are connected to the breakout board.

The machine I have is a X6-1500 and again it's from China, mechanically it's fairly well built but from what I've read coupled with my own experience the control board is junk!

Back to the breakouit board, I have power to the board, the green light is on and when I move the axis using the keyboard or on screen they do move in Mach 3 but not physically, I alo have lights on the board at the output bar and when changing axis direction I see lights going off then back on when I change direction in the X anf Z axis but nothing when I move the Y axis.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Bill

Did you ever get this problem fixed?  I just bought a c11gs board and hooked it up.  My system worked prior to this installation.  An I get a 5v power light and the estop light but I get no output to motors.  None of my output lights come on but the mach3 screen shows direction change but my axis don't move.  Let me know if you fixed yours.  Thanks.

Yes I did but had to purchase a 5vdc power supply and also had to supply a 12v supply which I got from my VFD, once you have both power supplies connected you have to adjust the output voltage to a max of 10v using the potentiometer for your spindle speed on the C11GS board so you will need a digital volt meter.
