I want to build a 3' x 8' bed cnc router. I'm looking for feedback on the Clear Path servo/ stepper motors

They're supposed to be pretty good.

Sorry to be responding so late to this thread...

I built a MechMate router, table size is 6ft x 12 ft with a 10inch Z. I am driving it with ClearPath servos, NEMA 23's. At first I was unsure whether they would work, but sure enough they work fine.

I also recently converted a Bridgeport Series 1 with ground ball screws and of course Clearpath servos, NEMA 34s. They work great as well. I'll be happy to provide more information if needed. I really like this ClearPath stuff.

regards,

BillT
