Gnexlab extruder controller issue
« on: March 12, 2016, 10:43:38 PM »
Hello all,
First time here and a lot of info already learned :) thank you very much!!

Me and a friend built our own conclusions in the garage and wanted to add the 3d printing functionality to it .
Well,  everything is plug and ready to try.
Turned the power on and of after 5 seconds because we figured our power supply delivers 24v instead of 12.
So we had 24v to the gnexlab extruder controller for 5 seconds max.
Then we switched the power supply to a 12v and started it again.
The control has its power. ..5v but nothing is shown on the lcd...
We are supposed to see the temperature but nothing here!
Just like if no software was in the controller. ..any idea what is happening here? The lcd has the light but nothing displayed.
Maybe we fried the controller from the first 24v blast ?
If so. ..which component from the extruder controller should be replace ?

Thank you very much for your help
Martin Lake.

Hi Martin,

If you have a problem which directly relates to Mach software then I am sure we could help you but Gnexlab controllers are perhaps stretching it a bit.
