Mach4 - motion steps overflow
« on: March 15, 2016, 07:25:16 AM »
Hi,
Is there anyone who can explain the error of motion steps overflow - check motor speed parameters ?
I have a pokeys56u with postep25 drivers. I open up the diagnostics in the pokeys plugin and there doesn't seem to be any issue with the usb connection.
I am running @ 1500 mm/min, I can run mach3 @ 2000 mm/min with the same motor settings.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Brad

Hi,

I'm having the same error. But only if i home my X-axis to fast (Wich has 2 motor that need to run in sync). lowering the homing speed solves this for me ...  (and it als also more accurate....)

I think my error is when I move 2 axis simultaneously. It would just be nice to know what the error is. My setup doesn't have any issues running on mach3 with the same motor tuning. And it only comes up with the error once I have stopped jogging, not while I'm jogging.
