I have a brought a router with Mach3-2010. I want to upgrade to the 2016 Mach3 and the mill wizard and the addons that come with  mach3 2016.
How do I save all the settings that make it work at the moment and then be able to transfer all those settings to the newly installed Mach3 ?
The computer it runs is Win XP
Any help or links to previously discussed similar issues is very welcomed.
I am not real computer literate, but can load software, but the places where all the settings are is beyond me.
How do I make a backup of what the machine is currently ?

1) Backup the following to the desktop, or even better, a USB drive:

XML(Profile) – This stores you’re settings for Mach3, if you lose it you will need to re-setup you’re ports and pins, motor tuning, etc.
Screensets
Macros/Brains
(Prehaps best to just backup/copy the whole Mach3 folder)

2) Download the current version of Mach3 from the Downloads & Update page.

3) Install the downloaded version; allow the install path to default to where Mach3 is installed.

4) Copy over to the new install the original ...

Screensets
Macro's/Brains

WARNING: If you do not backup the files in Step 1, you will lose ALL settings and configurations.

How or where is the Mach3 Folder ?

Your ‘Profile’ is shown at the bottom right of the main Mach screen (it is typically Mach3Mill).
The ‘Profile’.xml (typically Mach3Mill.xml) contains all you settings and this is located within the Mach3 folder which is located (typically) in your C: drive (use Windows Explorer).
Macro’s and Brains are within the Mach3 folder.
