My guess is 2,348,197 assumming it is only the chips visible in the photograph field-of-view.  Now who in their right mind would count each and every chip?  Can we ask for a re-count, because I am sure there are some hanging chips-on-chips (chads) that will break off as the chips are handled and skew the count higher.
