I am having an issue with HP, Win 7 Pro, and Mach4, DSPMC . I originally put together Mach4 , DSPMC, with Win 8.1 on Lenovo Y50-70 Laptop , this was a flawless setup as far as networking was concerned, I had zero issues. NOW, with HP windows 7 Pro, and even an added additional NIC, I cannot get a consistent connection. Yes I tried various IP configurations, windows firewall disable, ect, ect, The onboard NIC proved to be a potential problem, so I went out and bought another NIC by TP-Link, At least I get a connection to VSI, and DSPMC now, but it will not enable my system , nor will it stay connected for more than 10 seconds, it times out. I can see the encoders moving, and the values in the DRO will move along with manual movement. My enable circuit will not enable on the 7535 PNP, and a big red LED on the dspmc. Ive tried updating the driver of the NIC, and rebooted everything various times to rid of error on DSPMC. If I connect my lenovo back to the dspmc, everything is fine.
Not really sure what to do at this point. I have never really run into a networking issue I couldnt resolve. I suspect its to do with WIN 7 PRO software related. I did notice that Ive got quite a few more driver setting options in my Lenovo NIC than either of the ones on this HP. The VSI detects the the DSPMC, and Mach4 Detects DSPMC.
