Hello all , my? Is this. Are you supposed to use the disk that comes with the windows 360 controller. I have downloaded the direct x all shows up in Mach I can set the buttons on the controller but the axes screen numbers don't move and all I here from my machine is little increment moves. Plugin is fine and I can assign buttons not sure what went wrong maybe I should not have loaded the disk that came with the controller. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I didn't need the disk. I just plugged in the USB of the controller to the PC, Windows found the drivers and that was that, besides the plug-in install of course.
I'm running windows 7 (32 bit). It might be a driver issue. Can you check in the settings of the controller if you can see if the axis move in the configuration?
