Some sort of communications issue Mach <--> ESS <--> PMDX-126

Hey everyone,

Hoping you can help me with this.

I am having a hard time getting signals through the Ethernet Smoothstepper to Mach3.  This is a new build.

As far as I can tell, Mach talks to the ESS just fine.  I have gone through the ESS troubleshooting guide and have seen the ESS and the PC sending packets back and forth.

But when I change the status of any of the inputs, there is no reflection of that change in Mach.  The inputs are wired correctly - I can see the change in state via the status LED's on the '126 (both the E-Stop and the limit switches)   But either those signals are not making it to the ESS - or the ESS isnt correctly sending those signals to mach..

When Mach3 starts and I hit the reset button, I get the error "limit switch triggered"   The ESS status page shows pins 10,11,12,13 all unchecked - but that does not change when I manually toggle any of the limit switches or hit / reset the Estop.

So something isnt talking to something.

Any ideas?

Your help is appreciated!
