problem with emulated limit switch
« on: April 04, 2014, 01:32:07 PM »
Hello,

since last week i cannot arm my machine an get an error: "limit switch is triggered".
In diagnostic screen i can see limit switch for X++ Y++ and Z++ is triggered, but hardware switches are not triggered.
In ports an pins configuration the emulated option is checked, but when i uncheck it and open ports and pins configuration again, then it is checked again.
I´ve closed mach3 and changed the configuration of the xml file but when i open mach3 the xml has again the emulated sitches.

Any idea who the problem is?

i´m using dspmc and pokeys plugin and everything worked fine for many months.

Thanks,

Michael

Emulation would be something to do with the plugin for your controller, reason I say that is emulation I know emulation does not work with some external controllers and thus it is something the plugin would have to support.
If you attach your xml I will see if I can find an issue however I am not sure if I can as I do not use the DSPMC and thus it may not be possible for me to see things fully, worth a go though.
