Using 2 Stepper motors with one axis.
« on: March 16, 2014, 11:58:07 PM »
Hi all,
I will be building a bigger Router soon but need to run 2 motors for the "Y" axis.
I have searched for a way to do this and found on CNCZone a post that says in Mach 3 I can
associate the "Y" axis with the "A" axis and then all commands to the "Y" will be replicated on the "A".
Is this correct and if so how exactly is it done.
Thanks,
Steve.

All you need to do is enable the A axis (if thats what you will use), set its port and pin numbers and the set it up as a slaved axis. The slaved setting is from Config menu then Slave Axis.
