Yes, it look pretty much like that. Maybe worth a try.
Correction : 1 to 2 msec pulsewidth PWM ( not 1.5 to 2.5 as I mentioned before ) where 1.5 is the middle.
For some fun I tested it with a Pokeys56U, and yes its working. :)
