Reversed axis

Hi:

I am new to cnc and I believe I have my axis's reversed.

Not to confuse a newbe how do I fix this.

Two ways to do that, either change the active state of the Direction pin in Ports and Pins, Motor Setup or you can choose Reverse in Homing and Limits page (from Config menu)

you do know if your standing in front of your mill/cnc if you press up on the key board the y axis should come towards you down will move Y away left will move X right and right will move X left.
I just starting using mach few months ago and didnt understand this right away. If you think bout it it does make sense .

That depends on the type of machine, it is certainly true for a knee mill but for a travelling column mill like my Chiron or something like a gantry router it is not.
The thing to look at however is the motion of the tool in relation to the work material, that is what determines if you are moving in the correct direction.
