Rookie Question
« on: August 19, 2013, 07:04:44 PM »
I am creating a simple profile using SolidWorks and SolidCam, when I create the NC file and open it in Mach 3, I get these crazy big green circles? They don't show up in SolidCAM simulate, but they do in the preview window. Any suggestions?

Do a site search on BIG CIRCLES.

OR read the manual (;-)

Woah, I was hoping for a bit of advice, not a pile of sarcasm. Sorry for the stupid question, just trying to learn here.

That same question has been asked probably a  hundred times on this site.

AND I did give you GOOD advise,  DO a search AND

"Time to start reading the manual."

Thanks for the info. However, being an educator, I would recommend that you improve your communication skills so you can stop sending mixed messages. Think about your response from my point of view...

As an educator YOU should know HOW to study the manual and learn from the advice already given on this site.

We are NOT here to teach you anything BUT to help you learn. What better way than showing you where you can FIND the info you need.

Give a man a fish and you have only fed him for the day . TEACH a man to fish and he can feed himself forever.

Just a thought, (;-) TP

Change your IJ mode in general config.
Or even  better, configure your post processor to  insert the proper codes to set the IJ mode, either G90.1 or G91.1.
While I agree that everyone should read the manual and search before posting, the search function here is about the worst I've ever used.
