Job timer doesn't work
« on: August 07, 2013, 02:46:54 PM »
I changed to Mach3 version R3.043.066. Now the Elapsed (cycle time) timer doesn't work. Any thoughts?

Seems to work here, can you attach your xml and code and I will see if I can find a problem.
There are quite a few things that are screwed in 066 but they tend to be more advanced things rather than basic setup type things.

Mike, Hood asked for the G code file you are having problems with as well. Anyone testing will need that.

Bret and Hood,
I'm sorry for the delay in answering, had to go to the machine to test some other programs for this issue. Happy to say, the timer works now. Must have been a fluke, I even tried the same wrapping program again and this time it counted the time. Sorry I wasted you time.
There is however another thing, it was the same on the R3.043.58 version of Mach also. On the axis position display, the Z axis is not bold like the other fields. It doesn't cause any problem with the running of programs, it just stands out. Have other users had this issue or is it just me.

Place the attached screenset in your Mach3 folder then go to the view menu in Mach and Load Screens, browse to the Mach3 folder (if not there) and choose mvoros.set and see if that helps.

Thank you for that Hood. Unfortunately it didn't fix it. The Z  field is still not bold. Not much to worry about I guess.
