Dimensions twice what they should be
« on: May 22, 2013, 06:13:13 PM »
I have calibrated all axes and they measure what I put into the software.
However, when running a simple rectangle program the dimensions are twice what they should be.
Any suggestions as to how to correct this.\?

You probably need to turn the velocity and accel way down from what they are now if your trying to use the auto calibrate.  Best to do the math to arrive at your steps per for this reason.  If you skip steps while doing the auto calibrate or have backlash that isn't taken up auto calibrate will not take that into consideration.

Alos make sure that the scaling DROs are set to 1.
We never have the time or money to do it right the first time, but we somehow manage to do it twice and then spend the money to get it right.
