« on: March 29, 2013, 02:03:33 PM »
I have a mill setup with Mach and been having a hard time getting it going.
I think we are close but i would like to call someone to go threw a quick trouble shooting.

  Thanks Brett ;D ;D ;D
You got us a lot further along. ;)
We found the wiring wrong on the Z axis servo motor. ???

It was a great feeling to see  it move. 8)

Is there a setting in Mach to tell Mach that it is looking at C32 board.
Problem we are having is setting up the steps per inch but when we
give it a move command it goes a totally different distance.

There is a complete chapter dedicated to this in the manual.
Mach3 Install & Config. Guide
Up top, under SUPPORT/Documentation

Good, you will be slinging chips in no time now.   :)

A couple of these links will help in setting up your steps per and a couple of others that you will want to check right after you get everything moving the proper distance.  Also, the manual Russ is referring too really is a must read for Mach users.  You will be doing yourself a favor to study it front to back.
