mach3 threading speed variations

i want to know if the new versions of mach3 that include the speed control of the spindle
still sync the Z axis speed to the spindle speed when threading..
with version 6.23 it seems that if the spindle speed decreases the z axis speed stays the same....

You say "version 6.23" can you expand a little on that as it sounds unfamiliar to me.

2.63 is very old, lots of changes have been done to threading in the parallel port driver since then. If I recall it was about 043.036 or so that there was a big change.
