I now know the answer. It is because I have tried to link to the actual file in the forum and it is not hosted in the actual server.
I will fix this up, somehow !
In the mean time you should be able to download them from the different threads in this forum. All the threads will be here http://www.machsupport.com/forum/index.php?board=20.0

This is the link in the first post by zealous http://machsupport.com/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=602.0;id=483 that still won't download the file.

I'm weeks away from getting my setup running.  Just wanted to piddle around with this stuff.

I just clicked that link, as well as others and they started to download.
The real reason for this problem is cookies related, and settings on your browser.
Try adjusting your cookie settings to be more liberal.
The problem is, these files will download for most users, and it will take a lot of changes to make it download for you as well.
It would be simpler if you adjusted your browser settings.

I am at a loss.  Using Firefox I deleted all cookies for this site.
Using Internet Explorer I set security as low as it would go.
No download.
It's only one screen set.  I certainly can get by without it.  So lets just forget it.
