CV for 4 linear axis
« on: December 23, 2012, 05:07:23 AM »
Hello,
How mach compute constant velocity for 4 linear axis machine? I have 4 axis foam cutter. I selected X Y for the left side and A B axis (switched to linear) for right side. Do I need to set something to tell mach this are 2 pair of axis?
How mach treats this: 2 linear segments. on the XY side they make 90 deg. corner and on on the AB side they are almost coliner. Next the same but 90 deg corner on AB side and colinear on XY side. Will these situacions mach treat equally? Considering "Stop CV on angles", "CV dist tolerance" parameters. How it knows between which pair of axes compute angle? e.g. between A,B and XY and not YA ?

thanks
