I want that airplane flight security ring knife survival tool! Great work.
I want to die in my sleep like my grandfather, not like the passengers in the car! :-)

Here's a new one from today.  Simple, yet very different.  My wife wore it this morning and get a comment on it at the first place she went to.

Hi Bruce,

Fantastic work you do with those rings! Thanks for posting. Curious what laser does it take to cut these?

Dan, it's a 4500 watt fiber laser.  I built it onto a Tormach machine and use the Mach 3 control.  It can cut through at least 7mm of titanium.

I can't believe the first comments were about cutting the ring off rather than asking about the laser. As long as you have the tiny key on you then no problem! I wear a plain titanium wedding ring but won't worry about needing it cut off.

Fiber lasers are amazing. Maybe in a few years there will be cheap Chinese versions that us hobbyists can afford.

Here's another new one.  The chain goes around a tiny sprocket and is driven by the thumbwheels.  The chain wraps around and travells in the groove going around the ring.  It's a fun fidget ring.

Now, that is just neat.  I dont wear jewelry of any kind but I would probably wear that one out.   Do you have a link to order these  and repair bushings/bearings for the thumb wheel ?  ;D
