Using Brains to start spindel motor with Step/dir
« on: November 02, 2012, 07:03:05 PM »
I don't know if brains is the right way. I'm testing Mach3 Turn with a Mach3 Usb Motion Card (AKZ250) from leafboy77.  http://leafboy77.com

The problem is that I have a Spindle motor that uses Step/dir. I have connected the Spindle to the YS and YD. I have tried to change the pin and port numbers in the engine configuration. I have also put Motor control to step/dir motor. But when I press spindle to start nothing happens. When I start Mach3 Mill I can use the arrow key to start the spindle. I can even use motor tuning.

Now I want to use Brains to connect the button Spindle to start the Y-axis (where is my spindle connected to). And with the setting of the spindle speed, I want to control the feed of the Y-axis.

Is this possible ? Or does anybody know how to solve the problem of the spindle configuration
