Mach3 homing direction
« on: March 12, 2012, 05:18:14 PM »
Hello, all: I'll make this as short as possible. I go to reference my 3 axis, and the Z and Y move as they should, but I have to set the "reversed" option in Homing/Limits to make the X go in the correct direction. However, if I use the Mach3 Jog pendant, the Y goes in the opposite direction (tries to home towards Y +)  I've tried changing the Active Low in Ports and Pins/Motor Outputs, then changed it back, and I've also tried switching two wires to my 4-wire steppers, all with no solution.  Any ideas?  Why would I get opposite directions using the Jog?

What pendant and how does the button to home work in it as I think it must be a script of some sort?

Hood:  I meant the internal "pendant" in mach3 accessed by the "Tab" key.  In any case, I finally got my settings correct, and now things are working as they should.
