Mach 3 resetting the screen and configs by itself
« on: June 18, 2012, 02:34:08 PM »
Hello guyz, I'm facing this odd problem with Mach 3. Everything works perfect then someday when I turn on the PC all my configs are gone including the screen. I was wondering what could make the Mach 3 restore to the original config?

Thank you

Your config is held in your xml for the profile you use so unless that gets deleted you should not lose your settings.
Only way I could see something like that happening is if you have some sort of auto restore function set in windows.

I don't have any auto restore function in my Windows, as far as I know.
The thing is I have the backup of my XML folder and when this happens I copy and paste and everything is ok.
I just like to know if someone has already experienced this problem. Maybe is something from Windows 7.

there is something odd about the way or place windows 7 stores the xml, i can't remember off hand where or what happens but someone else may be more aware of this. Try searching for copies or looking for strange directories.

Someone told me that shutting down the computer without closing the Mach 3 may cause this problem.
