Parallel Port Help
«
on:

I want to operate my router using a lap top computer. My lap top does not have a DB25 parallel port and Mach3 does not support a USB port. Any suggestions how I can get around this problem.

You could get a USB SmooStepper or better an Ethernet SmoothStepper.
Using Mach to control a machine from a laptop that has a parallel port is often a hit or miss affair due to the power saving features of laptops and thus it is usually best to use an external device such as the SmoothStepper anyway.
