I am meaning in Conficg menu in Mach then Inputs, you would have to tell Mach the port and pin number for each input before it would show on the diagnostics page.
You dont have to set them up as inputs in Mach, it all depends on what you wish to do, for example if you wanted one button to  be a cycle start button then the easiest way would be to use the OEM triggeres. Just tell MAmach the port and pin number you want the OEM trigger set to and then you can enter the OEM code for that button from Config menu, System Hotkeys.
Below is an example of both places where you would do that.

Hi Hood,
sorry i misunderstood your statement, :-[
Yes i do have oem inputs selected and enabled
I also have system hot keys done, using numbers 259 X, 260 Y, 261 Z, 262 A, 265 JOG X0.1, 266 JOG X 0.01, 267 JOG X 0.001
only jog x 0.001 is seen to change
it is likely to be an configuration error but my analytical brain died years ago :P
