LC Not Saving Files
« on: February 20, 2012, 11:43:39 AM »
Guys,

I'm rather new at this but have started to do a few bits and pieces.  I have no problems importing a drawing in to LC and have started to machine a few simple shapes.  However sometimes LC will not post any G code or save it to a file. Is it me or my version of LC.

Regards.

Hi Pendragon,

Using LC is a bit like driving a vintage auto-mobile you have to learn it's peculiar little ways.

Rich's manual may help you   http://www.machsupport.com/forum/index.php/topic,12078.0.html

It won't post code if you haven't defined the machining operation. If mach3 is not licensed there is a 50 line limit.
Just a few thought's that come to mind.
